Wadi-e-Huda marked Biggest Summer camp of India

Hyderabad (8.06.11) Those who will strive in our cause, we shall guide them to our own paths (Quran-29:69). This was the central theme for the largest 5 days residential camp organized by SIO City Hyderabad. The camp was successfully organized in the beautiful campus of Jamia Dar-ul-Huda from 8th to 12th June, 2011.

The camp was inaugurated on 8th June, morning 10 o’clock with recitation of Holy Quran. Renowned personalities of City and leaders of Jamat including Janab Khaja Arifuddin Sb (President JIH AP Zone), Jb MKM Zafar Sb (Nazim, JIH Hyderabad) and Mufti Sadiq Mohiuddin Sb were present during the inaugural session.

The camp was unique in its style and presentation. The entire audience was divided in 2 groups and parallel sessions in auditorium and class rooms were organized.  Around 20-25 classrooms sessions were running in parallel for all the 5 days. Topics like basics of Islam, believes, Ibadath, Seerat and Quran, Islamic movement and its ideology, Fiqh, management, current affairs, basic moralities etc were covered in depth by the speakers. Students were also allowed to raise the questions and get the doubts clarified. Evening sessions were dedicated for sports and outdoor games.

Each night common gathering of students was enlightened through thought provoking speeches by Jamat and SIO leaders on various topics. The focus of this camp was on intermediate students. Gathering of more than 500 participants was present during the camp. A similar camp will be organized by SIO Hyderabad in coming months for professional students.

To make camp more lively, events of students interests like Career counseling, Exhibition, cultural nights, sports etc were also conducted. In last session participants who showed excellent performance in these events were awarded. During the last session, many students expressed their desire to work for this noble cause.

Brother Mohd. Faizuddin ex-city president and ex-CAC member SIO of India addressed the gathering in the concluding session of the camp. Citing examples from history, he called students to get prepared for long term struggle for establishment of Deen.
The camp concluded with Presidential speech by zonal president of SIO AP Zone Dr. Atif Ismail who invited students to join the struggle. He also emphasized the importance of being in Ijtemaiyat. City president Br. Shafiullah Quadri presented vote of thanks and final remarks.
