Mumbai: SIO Maharashtra North Zone delegation meets Arif Nasim Khan Minister of Minorities Welfare and Dr. Rajendra Darda Minister of school education submitted memorandum and raises the issue of

Pre-matric scholarship in Maharashtra. The delegation demands the government officials to extend the date for applying of pre-matric scholarship. After discussion government accept the SIO’s demand and now date for applying scholarship has been extended.

The delegation of SIO also raises the issue of poor implementation ofscholarship scheme, scholarship website problem, difficulties regarding form filling & specially the problem of not sanctioning the amount of scholarship to the students who were selected for scholarships in previous years.  Delegation consisted of Dr. Nazar Shaikh, Irshad Khan Campus Sec., Huzaifa Hudai and Dr. Adnan.
