Hyderabad chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India has raised serious concerns over the alleged scam in Post graduate Medical entrance test conducted by NTR University of Health Sciences. These allegations were raised by Junior Doctors Association. The association alleged that at least 30 rank holders in the first 200 ranks were involved in malpractice. It’s also alleged that those who have secured top ranks were also involved in scams related to EAMCET as well as Post Graduate Institute of Medical Research, Chandigarh.

City President of SIO, Layeeq Ahmed, in a press release, said that anti-merit practices in the medical examinations are totally unacceptable and demanded the attention of all concerned authorities to take immediate and necessary actions to ensure a healthy competitive culture.

He further said that the negligence of authorities in addressing the raised concerns will badly demoralize sincere students.

He demanded the Governor of Andhra Pradesh to look into the matter and address the grievances of the medico aspirants.
