SIO Hyderabad had organised a round table meet on the topic of Safety and Security of Muslim Students in Campuses. The event was organised to raise and discuss the missing case of Najeeb Ahmed of JNU and the discrimination of Muslim students in Indian campuses.

The representatives of SIO(Students Islamic Organisation of India), BSF(Bahujan students Federation) & DAMSA (Dalit Adivasi minority students association) had gathered in a round table discussion at BC Bhavan, Himayat Nagar on 26th March 2017. The discussion was primarily focused on the growing violence and discrimination meted out at the students from marginalised sections of the society. Event received good coverage in print media at Hyderabad City.
