“DYS” Maharashta North JAC campaign concludes with great fervour

With a view to associate children with Junior Associate Circle (JAC) and to groom their talents, the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Maharashtra North Zone organised ‘Discover Your Skills’ campaign between September  and 26, 2011.

The campaign was observed through out the zone from September 6 to 18, under which different competitions including speech, drawing and general knowledge competitions were held. Sporting events like mini football and marble race were also part of the campaign.

Subsequently, a three-day zonal level camp for winners of different competitions conducted at local level was held between Septmeber 24 and 26, 2011 at Akola. Similar kind of competitions were held in the camp. Besides, lectures on career guidance, skill enhancement and religious consciousness were also included in the camp.

Finally, a grand rally was organised on September 26 under the theme ‘Quality Education Our Right’. Participants of the camp and students of different schools participated in the rally. The rally was addressed by Suhail Ameer Shaikh (Zonal President SIO MNZ), Sayyed Mazhar Akhlaque (ZAC member), Dr Nazar (ZAC member), and Nizamuddin Quazi. The rally culminated at Pramila Tai Oak Hall where a grand public meeting was held.

The meeting was addressed by Dr Wasimurrahman (ISC) and while Suhail Ameer Shaikh (ZP SIO MNZ) delivered the concludig address. Sayyed Mazhar Akhlaque made opening words, Azmat Baig compered the programme while Najeeburrahman Khan proposed a vote of thanks.

Members and associates of different units and circles including Akola worked hard to make the camp and rally a grand success.
