National Muslim Talent Search Examination (NMTSE) 2013 was successfully organised in Bhiwandi on Sunday, 17th March. NMTSE, a national level project by Human Welfare Foundation aims to motivate school students to participate and succeed in National level exams and Olympiads. The project also aims to identify talented students from STD VIII.

The event was organised by SIO Bhiwandi Unit (Maharashtra South Zone). All major schools of Bhiwandi were approached in mid February and students of Std VIII from these schools were invited to take part in NMTSE. Study material for the exam was provided to each of the participating school. More than 500 students (311 Girls and 215 Boys) from 20 schools appeared the exam held at KME Society’s Rafiuddin Fakih High School. 431 Students belonged to Urdu medium while 95 students were from English Medium.

Mr. Mukarram Khan (Lecturer of Rais Junior College) was the exam Incharge and the exam was supervised by Mr. Abdul Majeed (Teacher & Career Counseling Incharge Salahuddin Ayyubi High School). The support from Mr. Shabbir Farooqui (Principal Rafiuddin, Fakih High School) and his staff was overwhelming.
