Chennai: Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Tamil Nadu Zone was invited to discuss and present a paper on ‘ ‘Islamic Response to HIV & AIDS’ at the Southern Regional Meeting on ‘Inter-faith Scriptural Response to HIV and AIDS’. It was jointly organised by The Dept. of Ecumenical Relations and Ecological Concerns CSI, Ecumenical Solidarity for HIVs and AIDS and Shanti Ashram,Coimbatore at the CSI Center,Chennai last Saturday.

The meeting was to bring together various religious organisations especially students and youth to tackle issues revolving around the disease like Sin, Stigma and Discrimination, Gender Issue, Care and Support, Sexuality, etc.
