Parbhani, Delegation of SIO Parbhani here meets Ms. FoziyaTahseen Khan (Genaral administrator, Information & public relation, School education, Minority Development) regarding poor implementation of Pre-matric Scholarship for minority students. Delegation gave the memorandum to Minister and demanded the immediate action for the effective implementation of scholarship scheme.

The delegation raised the issue of 4 month delay in publishing advertisement of scholarship in newspapers and Problems faced by students while filling the online form. The issue of Non-cooperation from government officials, school management and staff was also raised in the meeting.

The demand of allowing offline form submission, conducting training workshop for teachers, parents and students, Involving NGO’s in the whole process to have effective implementation of scholarship scheme, solving the server and other problems related to online application, allocating the scholarship amount to those who were selected for scholarship in previous years, making the application process easy etc. were made in the memorandum submitted by SioParbhani.
