Da’wah Workshop organized by SIO Mehdipatnam | Andhra Pradesh

Interaction with the people of society, understanding them and their beliefs, and conveying our message in most proper and apt manner both theoretically and practically is the core job for the reconstruction of society and also preparation towards it.

In a place like Hyderabad were muslim students are accustomed to studying in muslim schools & colleges and are thought to spend their time in so called muslim-ghettos, SIO realized that there is a need to inspire and motivate them towards their basic job, of calling people towards Islam. Hence a 2-day Da’wah Workshop was organized by SIO Mehdipatnam Unit in Hyderabad were the attendees were addressed on many important topics like Importance of Da’wah and Qualities of a dai’ee; Approaching Atheism, Pantheism, Christianity & Hinduism; Dawah at Social Media, Historic perspective of Dawah by Islamic Movements around the world, Overcoming problems and challenges of reverts, etc. Jb. Ahmed Hussain Mulla Sahab, Member of Da’wah team of JIH – Karnataka and Br. Abdul Hameed Harsoor, Member of Da’wah committee of SIO-Karnataka addressed the attenedees on various topics. The practical demonstrations of debates and discussions on social media by Br. Abdul Hameed were the highlight of the workshop.
