SIO Nanded Submitted Memorandum against Unlawful Arrest of Youths

Nanded, NOV-22: The Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO), Unit Nanded of Maharashtra South Zone Delegation of  SIO office-bearers submitted a memorandum to the collector, Nanded. While terming these laws draconian, they claimed that innocent Muslim youths are being arrested and harassed in the name of counter terrorism.

They demanded that the trial of the alleged cases of terrorism be held on a daily basis so as to save the lives of the innocent youth are being arrested and harassed in the name of counter-terrorism.

They demanded that the trial of the alleged cases of terrorism be held on a daily basis so as to save the lives of the innocent youths and the intelligence Bureau (IB), Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), special cells of the police and other security agencies be made accountable. The office-bearers of the SIO also demanded that the government should stop custodial torture of the accused and take action against personnel of investigating agencies responsible for fabricating evidecne against innocent people.

Prominent among those who were present included Br. Ikram (SIO, City President), Sujjat Gavri, Mustajab khatir (SIO-ZAC Member).
