Egypt, Bangladesh, Syria and Turkey were the most discussed countries among the International issues. On the Military coup against Morsi government JIH declared it as murder of democracy. Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, Ameer (National President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind termed the sacking of elected democratic government of President Dr. Mohammad Morsi by the Egyptian military as utterly wrong, illegal, un-Islamic and murder of democracy.

Mr. Nusrat Ali, General Secretary, JIH strongly condemned the death sentence awarded to Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid and life sentence to Ghulam Azam of Jamat-e-Islami Bangladesh by the War Crimes Tribunal set up by the Shaikh Hasina government of Bangladesh.

Condemning the Police attack on Tonk Masjid, Mohd. Jafar, Vice President, JIH said “As the election triumph is near, the communal card is being played and endorsed by the parties for political gains which is highly condemnable. He further said that a high level probe should be ordered into the incident.”

Discussing over the Educational, and Socio-economic issues, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed shed some light on the efforts of SIO towards these concerned areas. He said “Due to the lack of adequate resources regarding education in Northern India, We ran a North India Educational Movement over there, to uphold the education system and to look into the economic and financial problems and to present alternate solutions. SIO formed a Human Economic Forum which intends to promote research work in economics and finance”.

The delegation of JIH appreciated the efforts of SIO and Maulana Jalaluddin Umri extended his best wishes to the organisation.
