On 14 May, a joint team of Jamaat e Islami Hind Jamshedpur Kabir Nagar Unit & Students Islamic Organisation of India, Jamshedpur(Jharkhand) organised relief Camp at Hashmi Mohalla and Himmat Nagar locality for the victims of Communal tensions going on in Pokharia village. Relief items comprising 25 kg rice, 5 kg dal, 5 kg Potato, 2 kg onion, 2 kg sugar, 1kg edible oil, 1 pkt tea, 1pkt powder milk was distributed among 16 families.

In the Programme Abrar Ahmad, Arif Hussain, Iqbal Farooqui, Misbahuddin Madny, Hafiz Ashghar and SIO team was present. UMF – Jamshedpur (wing of JIH Jharkhand) and other secular people are also trying to re-settle the victims of Pokharia in their village safely.
