National President sermonize with Youths of Indian Islamic Circle in Qatar

National President sermonize with Youths of Indian Islamic Circle in Qatar

Indian Islamic Youth Circle (IIYC), Qatar, under the patronage of Indian Friends Circle Qatar invited National President of  Students Islamic Organisation of India Mr Iqbal Hussain to come and witness the various activities of IIYC going in Qatar.

On the occasion of his visit various meets and programs were organised. He also addressed a massive gathering of Youth with the theme -“Innal insana lafi Qusr”-“Indeed mankind is in loss”, at Indian Friends Circle hall. Mr. Iqbal Hussain, National President SIO of India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and shared the dais with Mr. Zubair Ahmed Khan, President of IIYC and Mr. Layeeq Ahmed Khan, National PR secretary SIO of India.

Mr Hussain, who addressed the gathering, emphasized on the need for Muslim youth to play an active role in changing the socio-economic condition of the community. He said: “Unless the Muslim youth does not rise to the occasion and work for upliftment of the community, situation of the ummah will not change for the better”.  He spoke at length on how the youth in the past have contributed and brought positive changes in the world. Mr.Hussain credited the success of developed nations to the dedication, focus, and determination of their youth. He added : “For a country or a community to progress, its youth must strive collectively for a common goal”.

Mr Hussain advised the youth present to take a cue from Japan, on how it emerged a winner after being bombed with atom bombs. He said: “After the Hiroshima-Nagasaki incident, people of Japan, particularly the youth, did not get bogged down by the tragedy that struck them. They decided to build their country all over again, and today we all have the result to see”.

He presented a three point formula and called the Muslim youth to it to resurrect the ummah. He asked the youth to spread the teaching of holy Qur’aan, become pioneers in the field of Science and Technology, and call people towards Islam.

The program ended with Mr. Zubair Khan inviting the youth to join IIYC. He called the youth to strive for the betterment of community. He thanked the audience present and hoped the program will inspire more youth to work for the society in the coming days.

Mr Hussain  was briefed about IIYC activities and had an in-depth conversations and provided valuable suggestions to the heads of the various sections under IIYC like ECGC, Multimedia, Tarbiyah, Dawah etc.

Apart from this Mr Hussain also attended and embraced the following events:

  • Teens cultural festival which was organised for students for senior and junior schools studying in various schools of Qatar.
  • A visit to Al Jazeera  media network Headquarters.
  • Mr Hussain was also interviewed with Media one gulf where he throw-ed light on various questions that were raised by the media fraternity.
  • Mr Hussain also awarded the “Presidents Cup” to the winner team of the cricket team for the match played between IIYC and IFC.
