An Iftar-get together for MPSC and UPSC aspirants was organised by the Students Islamic Organization of India, Pune chapter at Golden Jubly Hostel. Issues such as current socio-educational scenario and political situation of the country, preservation of democratic environment in campuses, student’s politics and other educational issues and challenges were brought under discussion.
Mohammad Faisal, MPSC aspirant and member of SIO delivered the welcome note. Shaikh Khizer, Dawah Secretary of SIO Maharashtra explained the need to work in union to preserve the atmosphere of peace and security in the country, and for national progress.
Program was concluded by Presidential speech of Ata-Ur-Rehman Hashmi, President of SIO Pune. He explained the history of 30 years of SIO’s struggle, activities and the Organization’s policy. Sharing their views at the end of the program, the students conveyed their keen interest in working together.
