Nanded (24.07.11): a successful Program: IKT, Islamic Knowledge Test was successfully conducted here in Maharashtra South, while National President SIO was present at the felicitation program.

The Aim of this program being Introduction of Islam to students, IKT was organized on a book Islam Prabodh & Towards Understanding Islam written by Sayyad Abul Ala Moududi Rehma, in 2 languages ENGLISH and MARATHI. The program focused on creating communal harmony, Religious Tolerance and Social Courtesy among the students. The registration counters were held at different colleges , institutes and tuition centers of Nanded,  more than 600 students registered their names for IKT, while the above two books were distributed to registered students free of cost.

“We have covered almost all campuses of Nanded and introduced to more than 10,000 students not only IKT but also about students Islamic organization of India” said Syed Ikramuddin. ( Local Prez SIO Nanded)

The Award function was organized to felicitate the toppers and successful candidates on 31 July 2011 at Nanded.  National president SIO  Mohammad Azharuddin, Editor Rafique Manzil Br. Syed Sibghatullah Husaini,  Dr. Syed Rafique Parnerkar , Zonal President Syed Moizurrehman, Zonal Sec. Syed Naser Hussain and Ameer e Maqami JIH (Nanded) Hamed Hussain sab was present during the event.

More than 500 students were present during the occasion, participating students expressed their views at the concluding session.

“Islam is a best religion in the world”, “If whatever written in this book is Islam, I will happily accept it “, “post reading this book we came to know that this is the religion not for Muslims alone but for all human beings” were some of the emotions expressed by the participants.

During this activity SIO Nanded met all key Persons of the society, VC S.R.T.M.U.NANDED –Dr. Nimse Baburao Patil , Pro Vc S.R.T.M.U Dr. Dilip Ukey ,District Collector Nanded Shridhar Pardesi, Superintendent of police Nanded Shahaji Umap and principals of all colleges. All highly appreciated the program IKT.

To concluded it was a unique and great initiative by SIO Nanded. May Allah Accepts their efforts.
