5 September 2012, Aurangabad: Students Islamic organization of India (SIO) Aurangabad City delegates today met commissioner of police Mr. Sanjay Kumar regarding Islamic Knowledge Test. SIO city president Shaikh Naser spoke the motive behind Conducting the test. He Spoke seeking past days it has been observed that the internal harmony, peace among the society has been disturbed due to socio political issues. SIO keen to maintain the internal harmony among the different religion of our country and working out in different modes. SIO organized Islamic knowledge test specially for non-Muslim brothers and sisters for the sake of interaction and peace in the city. IKT winners will be awarded with huge amount of prizes in the award ceremony. The test will be on 23rd September 2012, and result will be declared on 30th September 2012.

On this Commissioner of Police encouraged the SIO delegates by saying“youngsters are the strength which can change the society if directed in the right way, they have creative minds, which could lead the society in the better way if they come forward”. He appreciated the move and promised all possible support.

SIO Appreciated on the law and order maintain by the police in the city. ISLAMIC knowledge Test will be conducted on the Book “Towards understanding Islam” and will be in three languages Hindi, English, Marathi. Attractive Prizes had been Kept, 1st prize-Rs.15000, 2nd prizes-Rs.10000, 3rd prize-Rs.5000 and 20 consolation prizes worth Rs.500.
