Workshop on “Islamic Philosophy of Knowledge and Education”:SIO MNZ

Nagpur: SIO MNZ feeling the need of hour organized two days zonal workshop on “Islamic Philosophy of knowledge and education”.

The first day of workshop started with Quranic recitation. The National President SIO of India Md. Azharuddin delivered his speech on “The role of education system for the reconstruction of society” on stressing the issue, he said that research is lacking, there is confrontation among the theories, not inclusion of unseeing things, and spiritual diseases are neglected. He admired the efforts of zone in respect of prevailing and initiating the debate on “Islamic Philosophy of Knowledge and Education”.

Br Sibghatullah Husaini (CAC) addressed the gathering on “Islamic Philosophy of Knowledge “. Br Omair Anas (CAC) discussed “National Educational Agenda- an Introduction”. Br Khan Yasir (CAC) Editor The Companion presented analytical study of “ Khutba-e Taqseem Asnad”. Br Shahnawaz Ali Rehan (CAC) provided the information and critical analysis of “Right to Education Act.

Education is also influenced by the Neo Imperialism.  Br. Shahnawaz Ali Rehan opined.

On second day Dr. Badrul Islam Sb. (Author of “Taleem ki Islami Bunyadain“) A research scholar and principal guided the participants on “Moral basic of education” and “Philosophy of education-an intro”. He has done research on Educational foundation of Islam.

Question and Answer session was conducted with respective scholars for the participants. An assignment was also given to participants on( Present Education system- problems and solution). Different groups were made.

Finally the concluding speech was delivered by Suhail Ameer sheikh (Zonal President) on education for construction – students for revolution.”
