Kadapa: Regional President of SIO Andhra Pradesh south region, Br. Farooq in a press statement, criticised the way the Andhra Pradesh state re-organization bill was passed in the Parliament. He said that the way T-bill was passed is undemocratic.

“No debate took place on the bill and the bill was passed by a voice-vote amid TV blackout”, he said.

He urged the Government to seriously think about issues and concerns of the Seemandhra region such as water, education, employment etc post division.

He demanded that due compensation should be given to the underdeveloped areas of Rayalseema and North Andhra.
