Kerala chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India organized a Meet for Campus cadre at Mount Seena Public School in Palakkad, in which students from various campuses participated. State President S. Irshad presented the inaugural words and welcomed the cadre. The two-day meet had various sessions such as Takbeer, Tasbeeh, Tahmeed, Students movements in Kerala, History-political experiment in post independent India, Higher education reforms: our perspectives, Paper presentation on RUSA, Foreign and private universities, Self-financing education, Autonomous colleges, Political spirituality and Public engagements: lessons to Islamic movements.

These sessions were handled by experts such as A.H .Nahas (ZAC member), Shihab Pookottor (Editor of Bodhanem), Saheen K Moidhunni (Founder & Coordinator Free Gaza Movement), Limseer Ali (CAC member of SIO), Samsheer Ibraheem, Shiyas (ZAC Member). Campus secretary of SIO Kerala, K.M.Shefrin presided over the meet.
