SIO Kovai conducted a Spiritual Convention in Coimbatore at the Islamiya School, Karumbukkadai on the theme ” Fa aina tazhaboon – Where are You Heading Towards?” – questioning today’s younger generation of what they are doing. Br. Abu Thahir, Zonal President of SIO Tamil Nadu spoke on the central theme.

The other prominent speakers included Usthad. A.C. Agaar Mohammed (Naleemiyah University, Sri Lanka) who addressed the gathering via Video conference, Mohammed Nooh Mahlari (Translation Department, Islamic Foundation Trust) and Mohammed Ismail Imdhadi (Correspondent, Hidhaaya Islamic College for Women).

The convention started with a massive rally. There were also various cultural activities performed in the end.
