The flood caused by heavy rain in Sheopur city (Madhya Pradesh) and adjoining rural areas of Baran district of Rajasthan has caused severe destruction. A large population of Sheopur district has been affected by the floods, the lives have been disturbed there.

Seeing such circumstances, Mangrol, Baran, and Chhan, the units of SIO Rajasthan have gone there and carried out flood relief work. The three units of SIO Rajasthan together distributed around 600 food packets, 250 ration kits, 400 flour packets, and 700 biscuit packets.

So far 800 medical medicines have been delivered to the needy while arranging medicines for the sick people. Along with this, clothes and other items of need have also been collected and distributed by the SIO. All this work is done by S.I.O. It has been carried out in collaboration with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and other affiliated organizations and the process of helping is continue.
