Students Islamic Organisation of India, Maharashtra South zone organized a one-day workshop, “Career Counselling- a Practical Approach” on 14th June, 2013 at Student Centre, Glint House, Aurangabad in order to train career counselors in the zone. Participants from across various units of Maharashtra south attended the workshop.

Program started with the recitation of Quran followed by Inaugural words by Br. Mohammad Salman, Campus Secretary of SIO MS Zone in which he discussed the objective of the organizing the camp.

Chief Guest of the workshop, Sr. Career Counselor, Prof. Najmuddin took an interactive session covering all major aspects of career guidance and counseling. He explained various practical methods of counseling the students of different levels. This was followed by a Q&A session. Later, Br. Imran Hashmi delivered a lecture on the topic of “Scholarships & Financial support. This was followed by Zonal Secretary, Br. Siddique Khan’s presidential address.

The Program concluded with a meeting of Career Guidance cell of SIO-MSZ, in which road map of the cell was chalked out and also some important activities were planned for Hingoli district. The meeting was presided over by Br. Siddique Khan and convened by Br.Naveed Quadri, Incharge of Career Guidance cell.
