Karnataka chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India welcomed the decision of the State Government to revise the School textbooks adulterated with Communalization. It has been a continuous effort of SIO Karnataka to address this issue and take it up with the government and public. Through regular surveys, seminars and debates throughout the state, SIO Karnataka has submitted number of survey reports to State Government urging them to take immediate action. Recently, a delegation of SIO Karnataka met Primary & Higher Education Minister Mr. Kimmane Ratnakar and submitted a memorandum and analysis on the effects of Communalisation in education curriculum.
