Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) led by Mohd. Azharuddin, National President met and greeted its Chief Patron, Maulana Syed Jalalluddin Umri on being re-elected as the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH).

Maulana Umri was recently re-elected as the President of JIH by the House of Representatives of JIH. By virtue of his re-election, Maulana Umri will also remain the Chief Patron of SIO during his term.

During the brief interaction, ideas and views on strengthening the bond were discussed. Secretary General, PM Salih, National Secretaries – Soukath Ali, Sharique Ansar & Shaikh Shoaib and Office Secretary, Mohd. Rafe accompanied Mohd. Azharuddin in the delegation.
