National President of Students’ Islamic Organisation of India, Ashfaque Ahmed Shareef was heartily welcomed by cadre of SIO Kerala zone. A public meet which was held in Kannur started with a dynamic rally in which thousands of students participated.

In his inaugural speech, T Arif Ali, Zonal President of JIH Kerala stated that government discrimination against muslim community should be countered with democratic means. Ashfaque Ahmed , National President of SIO ,addressing the rally said that students community must come forward against the evils in the society. “They should work towards creating a social system based on justice and equality”, he added.

Zonal President of SIO Kerala, S Irshad, General Sec of JIH, P Mujeebrahman, Solidarity State President PI Noushad Karnadaka, Zonal President Thouseef Ahmed, GIO State President Ruksana P also addressed the students.
