Bangalore(8.12.2012): Br. Ashfaq Ahmed Shareef of Mangalore has been elected as the new National President of Students Islamic Organisation of India for the term 2013-14.

Br. Ashfaq Ahmad Shareef hails from City of Mangalore, a Journalism Graduate from Bangalore University has held different responsibilities in the organization. He was Zonal President of Karnataka 2011-12, secretary for Public Relations, Editor of “The Companion”. 

He has been Elected by the body of ZAC Members of all state together under the patron ship of Chief Patron of SIO Janab Jalaluddin Umri Sahab (Ameer-e-Jamat-e-Islami Hind) in AllZAC camp, here in Bangalore. Now this body will also elect All India Central Advisory Council, results of the same are expected shortly. 

Soon Charge shifting Ceremony will take place at Head Quarter and Current National Presidert Br. Mohammad Azharuddin will handover charge to Newly elected National President. 

Br. Ashfaq soon will also discuss with newly elected CAC Members to decide the New General Secreatry and other National Secretaries for the new term.
