New Delhi: the National Coordinator, Humane Economic Forum (HEF) Mr. S M Wasiullah met Dr. Nejatullah Siddiqi Sb, the Chief Advisor, HEF in Aligarh at his residence on 29th November, 2013. In the meeting he briefed about the programs, activities and researches going on under the HEF. He also shared the future plans of HEF which include expansion of the forum in different parts of the India, growth of human resources and other research projects. Dr. Siddiqi appreciated the activities of HEF. On what type of role HEF can play in the present economic turmoil, especially in India, he said, “HEF can play a key role in solving the economic issues that the society is currently facing by initiating the debate and by providing the alternate solutions to such issues through in depth research”. He also said, “Possible solutions to the current economic issues such as poverty, unemployment, monetary system and banking system issues, inflation, etc can be drawn only if the research scholars start a fresh discussion on the subject matter with broad mind and by utilizing the modern means and resources available at present. The solutions (to be proposed) for the current economic problems, however, should be based on the ‘Fairness’ and ‘Justice’ – the fundamental principles for a prosperous society”. Dr. Siddiqi gave valuable advises and suggestions for further growth and development of the forum. He also answered to the various questions (collected through Email) of the HEF members. Meanwhile, Mr. S M Wasiullah and Mr. Noor Siddqi, Member, Executive Board- HEF, on behalf of HEF, presented a memento to Dr. Siddiqi as a token of love and respect. They also thanked Dr. Siddiqi for his timely advises and guidance that he has been giving HEF since the first day of its formation. He conveyed his best wishes and prayers to all HEF members.

Mr. S M Wasiullah also met Jb. Nusrat Ali Sb, General Secretary-JIH, Jb. H. Abdur Raqeeb Sb, National Advisor-HEF, Dr. Waqar Anwar Sb, Secretary, Board of Islamic Publications-JIH at JIH Head Quarter in New Delhi. In the meeting he shared a brief report on the programs, activities and researches going on under the HEF banner and also briefed the future plans of the forum. All experts appreciated the works of HEF and gave valuable advises for further growth and development.

A flash review meet was organized at SIO Head Quarter, where Mr. Wasiullah presented a brief report on the programs and activities taken up by HEF in last one year (Jan – December, 2013). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Sharief, the National President, SIO. And, Mr. Sarwar Hasan, the General Secretary, SIO, Mr. Shariq Ansar, the National PR Secretary SIO were also present in the meeting.

It is to be noted that the HEF is a national level forum initiated by SIO of India for the students who are interested in this field and want to contribute to the society from the field of Economics, Banking and Finance. It is a plat form for the students, youth and professionals to discus and to share their thoughts, research works related this field.
