SIO Mumbai had set up Counseling centers at different places in Mumbai such as Vikhroli, Kurla, Grant Road, Kandivali, Malad, Mira Road, Virar.
Between the dates 16-20th June, total 9 counseling sessions each being of 3 hrs were conducted at different cities across the Mumbai for the proper guidance of the students while SIO Kurla unit had organized 20 days Career Counseling session from 1st june to 20th June ,Malvani unit had organized 2 career guidance lectures in different schools of Malvani.
Also an Online helpline number was launched for the Career Guidance and Counseling of the students and was circulated through Social media.
Many doubts and questions of the students were solved.
Expert Counselors helped them to select proper Career and a clear path to reach it was informed to the students.
“Career guidance and counseling is very important as lack of knowledge and experience or poor self analysis can result into improper selection of course which can affect a students career in a long run, students must seek expert advice and should not opt for a course only on the basis of advertisement and glamour, peer and family pressure”, said Ali Imran, Career Counselor.
