Coimbatore (25.09.11): Students Islamic Organisation of India, Tamilnadu zone organized a grand regional conference, rally and symposium on 25th of September, 2011 at Coimbatore.
Regional cadre conference was held on the theme, “Koonoo Ansaarallah” (Be the helpers of Allah). Cadres from the districts of Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Mettuppalayam, Tirupur gathered for the conference.

The conference started with the flag hoisting by Br.Noorul Hasan, Zonal President of SIO, Tamilnadu zone followed by the explanation of SIO flag by Br.Syed Abuthahir, Zonal Secretary of SIO, Tamilnadu zone.

The main program started with Qirath by Br.Abdul Latheef. Br.Peer Mohammed, President, SIO, Coimbatore city welcomed the gathering. Zonal President delivered presidential address. Janab. Shabbir Ahamed sb, Zonal Patron of SIO, Tamilnadu Zone delivered inaugural address.

The chief guests of the conference were Dr.K.V.S.Habeeb Mohammed, Vice President, Islamic Foundation Trust, Chennai delivered the theme speech about Koonoo Ansarallah. Br.K.K.Suhail, Ex National President of SIO spoke on the role of students in the reconstruction of society.
Moulavi. Mohammed Nooh Mahlari, Translation Department, IFT, Chennai delivered speech on “The importance of Belief”.
Zonal Secretary of SIO introduced the activities of SIO.

Br.Nishar convened the session.With the announcements and prayers of Br.Abbas,,Conference co-ordinator, the conference came to the end.

Janab.I.Kareemullah, Ex General Secretary of SIO of India, Janab.P.S.Umar Farook, President, JIH, Coimbatore city, Janab.Abdul Kadher, Ex Zonal Secretary of SIO, TN zone, Br.M.Saleem, Ex Zonal President of SIO, TN, Br.Noman Akram, ZAC Member of SIO TN, Br.Sabeer Ali, Public Relation Secretary were also present for the conference.

RALLY

A mass rally was organized on 25th September, 2011 from Gandhipuram bus stand, The theme was “Towards Change”. Students and youth assembled at 3 pm for marching to address the social changes and to create a society, a role model one. About                                       students and youth participated in the rally where they raised voice against educational issues, privatization of education, alcohol consumption, importance of morality, etc. Students and youth, both boys and girls, ladies joined the rally. Zonal patron of SIO, Janab.Shabbir Ahamed sb inaugurated the rally with waving the flag. About 4 km was marched in this rally.

STUDENTS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE

A symposium had been organized on 25th September, 2011 on the theme ‘Creative Campus – Students for Social change”.

The programme started with the Qirath by Br.Mohammed Thoufeeq. Zonal Secreatry of SIO, TN inaugurated the symposium. Honourable Mr.S.P.Velumani, Industrial Minister of  TN, Dr.Vinu Aram, Director, Shanthi Ashram, Coimbatore, Janab.I.Kareemullah sb, Ex All India General Secretary, SIO, Dr.K.V.S.Habeeb Mohammed, Vice President of IFT, Chennai  delivered their thoughts on Students for social change. Br.K.K.Suhail,  Ex National Preident of SIO, spoke on the Creative Campus.

Zonal president Br.Noorul Hasan delivered concluding address. Br.Ferosh Khan, Campus Secretary of SIO TN, read the resolutions.

With the vote of Thanks of Br.Abbas, Co-ordinator of the Conference, the program came to an end.
