Student Islamic Organisation, Pune city (Maharashtra South Zone) successfully organized Islamic knowledge test (IKT)…Connecting Hearts on 9th Dec, 2012 at Poona College of Art, Science and Commerce, Pune. In which hundreds of students from all the campuses throughout the city participated in the test and share their views with us.

The test was conducted on the Book “Towards understanding Islam (English)” and “Islam Probodh (Marathi)” written by Maulana Syed Abul Aala Maudoodi in which he expressed the basic knowledge about Islam and the philosophical issues with solution. Students were courageous to give the test and views about the book.

SIO believes that knowing each other’s religion, discussing problems and finding out the solutions, interacting each other, coming closer irrespective of religion would give a peaceful, healthy, and better society moreover to bridge the gap between the other religions and to remove the misconceptions about Islam.
During this, SIO cadre meet more than 15,000 students throughout the city in different colleges, campuses, are shaping their minds towards betterment, and convincing them to be a part in making better tomorrow.

The award Ceremony will be on 18th December 2012 at Balgandhrava Rang Mandi, Deccan Pune, in which the different scholars will address the gathering. The toppers will felicitated by the eminent personalities. The first prize is Rs15,000/-, second prize Rs 10,000/- , third prize Rs 7,000/- and 20 consolation prizes of Rs1,000/- each.
