Joint Struggle By Students Organisations Is Needed For Country’s Progress says SIO National President

An Iftar-get together for various Student organizations was organised by the Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) at its Headquarters at New Delhi. Issues such as current socio-educational scenario and political situation of the country, preservation of democratic environment in campuses, student’s politics and other educational issues and challenges were brought under discussion.

Joint Struggle By Students Organisations Is Needed For Country’s Progress says SIO National President

SIO’s National secretary Shariq Ansar delivered the welcome note. SIO’s National President Ashfaq Ahmad explained the need to work in union to preserve the atmosphere of peace and security in the country, and for national progress. He expressed his concern over pending of six bills related to education and sought a joint struggle to protect the wider interests of students.

History of 30 years of SIO’s struggle, activities and the Organization’s policy were also explained. Sharing their views at the end of the program, the representatives of the Students Organizations conveyed their keen interest in working together.
