New All India President of Students Islamic Organisation of India for the term 2019-20, Br Labeed Shafi along with Br Syed Azharuddin (General Secretary) and other National Secretaries of SIO of India took over charge from Br Nahas Mala (National President for the term 2017-18), Br Khaleeque Ahmed (General Secretary 2017-18) on 1st January 2019 along with other secretaries under the presence of the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, Vice-President Nusrat Ali and Secretary General Muhammad Salim Engineer at SIO headquarters, New Delhi.

The other National Secretaries for the term 2019-20 are Br Maaz Salman Maniyar (National Secretary, Organisation), Br Syed Ahmed Muzakkir (National Secretary, Education), Br Shabeer CK (National Secretary, Campus), Br Abu Talha Abdal (Deeni Madaris) and Br Fawaz Shaheen (Public Relations). The outgoing secretaries for the term 2017-18 were Br Tauseef (Education), Br Abdul Wadood (Expansion), Br Jassem P.P. (Campus), Br Labeed Shafi (Organisation) and Br. Azharuddin (Public Relations).
