SIO Rakhial unit in collaboration with JIH Ahmedabad organised a seminar at Shree Swarashtra Sthanak Jain Sangh (Jainwadi), near New Metropolitan court in Ahmedabad on the topic ‘Muhammad (PBUH) in Indian Context’.

The seminar started with recitation of Quran by Javed Qureshi (Member, SIO Rakhial). While presenting inaugural words, Jb. Bashirkhan sb (Local President of JIH) said that the mankind has explored various ‘isms’ but they failed to present a complete solution related to social, financial, and political problems. Whereas, Prophet Muhammad (S) presented a complete set of solutions to the questions faced by mankind.

Later, President of SIO Gujarat. Br. Vaseef Husain presented welcome speech quoting views of various scholars on Prophet’s life.

Presenting presidential speech, Zonal Patron, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed said that while there are very few differences between hindus and muslims, there are many other things that are common. He recollected Gandhiji’s statement that governance must be as that of second Caliph of Islam, Umar . He further quoted Vivekananda, who had said that both Indian Intellect and Islamic body is the destiny of India. Furthermore, he said that issues that are prevailing in our society such as casteism, inequality, drug addiction, and violence on women etc.  can be resolved by following teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S). In the end, he advised the audience to learn more about Prophet’s life and his teachings.

The seminar was participated by a huge number of advocates and students.
