New Delhi: SIO of India organised National Campus Committee meeting at its Headquarters. Br Syed Azharuddin (General secretary, SIO of India) inaugurated and Br Shabeer CK (National Secretary, SIO of India) presided over the meeting. SIO strongly condemns renewed attacks on Gaza and calls on international community to take concrete steps.

New Delhi : Labeed Shafi, President SIO of India, strongly condemned the renewed Israeli aggression against Gaza. On the anniversary of the freedom march protests of 2018 by the Gazan people, the Israeli occupation forces launched a fresh series of attacks and brutal bombings on the civilian population and infrastructure of the Gaza strip. SIO demands to reduce Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) registration fee

New Delhi: Labeed Shafi President, SIO of India demanded the  MHRD  minister Prakash Javedekar to reduce The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) registration fee. In a letter to the minister Labeed Shafi Said CLAT is the window to national law institutions. As such, the test should be accessible to all students irrespective of their economic and social backgrounds. Labeed Shafi calls for nationwide protest against government’s cynical undermining of reservation policy

SIO National President Labeed Shafi today called for a nationwide protest against the central government’s move to extend reservation in jobs and education to economically weaker sections. Lok Sabha on Tuesday passed a constitutional amendment bill to provide 10 percent reservation in education and government jobs for ‘economically weak’ sections, taking the total reserved seats to 59 percent. Labeed Shafi said that the constitutional scheme of reservations is based on securing the ends of social justice, by including those sections that have historically faced discrimination and exclusion on the basis of their identity.
