‘Youth for a Better Tomorrow’ by IMA Youth wing

Indian Muslim Association – Youth Wing, organized a spectacular fun filled cultural program, ‘Youth for a Better Tomorrow’ on Friday, 28th February 2014, at Jamiatul Islah Center Auditorium in Al-Rawda. Wonderful dramas, nasheeds/taranas and classical Daff were the attraction of the program. Dramas were performed satirizing current social evils prevalent in Indian society. The aim of the program was to deliver social message in a lighter mode, utilizing the modern technologies and dramatizing our concern for the Youth. SIO joins protest against Nido Tania’s death

A delegation of the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) lead by PR Secretary Shariq Ansar joined hundreds of protesters at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday demanding action against those responsible behind the attack and subsequent death of Nido Tania. Nido, a 19-year old student from Arunachal Pradesh died after he was assaulted by a group of people on January 29. Shariq Ansar condemned the racial discrimination prevalent in our society.
