SIO Leaders Meet Union Minister of State for HRD, E. Ahmed

New Delhi: The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO)’s President, Mohd. Azharuddin and Secretary General, P. M. Salih met the Union Minister of State, Human Resource Development (HRD), E. Ahmed and discussed the education issues. During the very brief meet, the Minister acknowledged and congratulated SIO for its contribution in the field of student activism and education issues. Dr. Fazlur Rehman Faridi, the eminent Islamic scholar of contemporary India specialising in Islamic Economics breathed last today morning (25th July 2011) at his residence in Aligarh. He was currently the Chairman of the Indian Centre for Islamic Finance (ICIF). Mohd.
