Sio gujarat delegates visit vadavli village which was attacked by sunsar village people at 25 March 2017. The delegates interact with students of village and parents and discuss about educational issues. However sio gujarat delegates gave orientation to students and parents for upcoming exams. SIO gave assures to villagers regarding full support for educational welfare activities. On 30th July 2017,Daltonganj Unit of SIO Jharkhand Organised a Students meet in Iqra academy, lal kotha daltonganj. Program was started with Dars e Quran by Br. Shadab Anwar. Extending messages of fraternity, SIO conducts iftar meet with the Chakliya community

The state council of Students Islamic Organization conducted iftar meet at Muthalamada Ambedkar colony in solidarity with the Chakliyar community, where casteism is practised against the lower castes in every nuance of daily lives. Rupesh Kumar, famous novelist and activist, in his inaugural address stated that their struggle for equality and acceptance has helped bring more discriminations in limelight. He asked the government to take adequate steps immediately to bring forth the educationally and socially backward communities. Remember ‘Yaum e Badar’ with Iftar Get together at Chitarpur

On 14th June, 2107 SIO Chitarpur Circle organised an Iftar get together program on Yaum e Badar. The program was presided by Janab Tauqeer Ahsan Khan sb, and conducted by Br. Maaz bin Asad. Program was strated with the recitation of Quran by Br. Faiz ul Haque. Maulana Ahmad Ullah Falahi sb delevered a short lecture on the topic ‘Yaum e Badar and its importance’. Br. Round Table Meet on Safety and Security of Muslim Students

SIO Hyderabad had organised a round table meet on the topic of Safety and Security of Muslim Students in Campuses. The event was organised to raise and discuss the missing case of Najeeb Ahmed of JNU and the discrimination of Muslim students in Indian campuses.
