Massive protest in Gulbarga against Israeli attack on Gaza

A massive protest was organized in Gulbarga against Israeli bombing on Gaza, Palestine. Various organizations, under the banner of Kul Jamaati Milli Muttahida Council (KJMMC), Gulbarga organized this protest at Mini Vidhan Souda, Gulbarga. Later, a Memorandum was submitted to the Prime Minister of India through Deputy commissioner, Gulbarga. Students Islamic organization of India (SIO) Gulbarga, an important part of the council, actively participated and lead this protest. The protest demanded: Indian Govt to condemn the Israeli attack on Gaza and Indian Parliament to pass a resolution in this regard. Bangalore , May 12: The Students’ Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) has called upon the community to form a coordination committee to look upon the ways to reassess, reform and refresh Madrasa system. SIO proposes fee regulatory body, demands uniform fee structure in all unaided colleges

Government should take necessary steps to implement uniform fee structure in all unaided colleges and set up of fee regulatory body in the State, demanded the Students’ Islamic Organisation of India (SIO). Addressing media persons here, SIO zonal president Thouseef Ahmed M Y said that unaided colleges were “looting” people in the name of providing additional facilities such as free Wi-Fi, gym, etc. “While the rich can afford education at private colleges, the poor cannot,” he said.
