Local leaders camp organized by SIO Gujarat


Local Organisers and Local Presidents (LO-LPs) Camp was organized on 23, 24 February, 2013 on the theme “Apna Muqam Paida kar” (Discover yourself) at SIO Gujarat Zonal office, Karishma Complex, Juhapura, Ahmedabad, The purpose of the camp was to explain policy and program of SIO of the term 2013-14. The program started with ‘Lesson from Quran’ by Dr. Shakil Ahmed (Zonal Patron, SIO Gujarat). After this, video lecture of Br. Students Festival organised by SIO Gujrat


A grand students festival was organized on the 21st October at Nootan Bharti High School, Ahmedabad and on 7th November at Radiance English Medium School, Modasa. This is the first time in the history of SIO that 7 Non Muslim Management school was the part of the SIO student festival in Gujarat.  Off stage activity which includes Essay writing, Story writing, poem writing, maths quiz, drawing competition, memory test, English Antakshari and 4 on stage activity which includes Drama, Mono Act, Elocution, and extempore competition. Education Policy of Gujarat reviewed by Educationists at an SIO Gathering


The Gujarat zone of the Students Islamic Organisation of India(SIO)conducted a day long program on Sunday, the 2nd September for critically reviewing the Education Policy of Gujarat at the Gujarat Vidyapith campus in Ahmedabad. On 28-29 January, 2012 Local Organisers and Local President (LOLPS) Camp was organized at SIO Rakhial Unit, Lokhandwala’s chawl, Rakhial, Ahmedabad. Ahmadabad: Hundreds of students walked out of a day long students conference organised by the Gujarat Zone of the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), with a determination to re-orient their career and life. The Conference was organised on 27th November 2011 at Ahmedabad’s Gandhi Hall, Juhapura with a view to instill new purpose of education and life in the students community. Activists lambast State Govt. for apathy shown towards Minority Scholarship Schemes:SIO Gujrat


Ahmedabad 10/04/2011: A convention of prominent activists in the field of education today lambasted the state government for failing to implement the Central Government Sponsored Minority Schemes thus depriving 50,000 beneficiaries since 2007-08 the year of inception of the schemes.
