A joint meeting of different students and youth organizations under SIO's banner was held on 18 January 2008 at Hailakandi in South Assam Zone to condemn the recent massacre done by Israel in Gaza chaired by Prof. A.H.Mazumdar (Sabiri). The meeting was attended by SIO, AAMSA, PSYF, AAMSYO and AAMEYA.
