‘Youth for a Better Tomorrow’ by IMA Youth wing

Indian Muslim Association – Youth Wing, organized a spectacular fun filled cultural program, ‘Youth for a Better Tomorrow’ on Friday, 28th February 2014, at Jamiatul Islah Center Auditorium in Al-Rawda.

Wonderful dramas, nasheeds/taranas and classical Daff were the attraction of the program. Dramas were performed satirizing current social evils prevalent in Indian society. The aim of the program was to deliver social message in a lighter mode, utilizing the modern technologies and dramatizing our concern for the Youth.

Chief guest of the program, National President of Students Islamic Organization of India, Ashfaq Ahmed Shareef, in his keynote address highlighted the social problems of India such as poverty, corruption and violence on women. He urged Muslim youth to be more responsible and play a key role in resolving these issues for a better tomorrow.

IMA Youth Wing President, Mr. Rizwan Ahmed, gave a presentation on the activities carried out by Youth Wing.

Drama plays on Indian political system and marital problems of middle class families were highly appreciated by the audience. The program began with the recitation of the Quran by Syed Mustafa Iftekhar and concluded with the vote of thanks followed by Dua.
