Young talents should contribute Islamic movements in relevant fields, Kolkata

  Expressing his views on the topic Jammat-e-Islami Hind and its future agenda, he further said that future of JIH is in SIO and no programmes can be formulated without keeping it in view. Explaining the present and near future policy and programmes of JIH, he called upon SIO youths to develop expertise in other and Islamic ideologies and contribute Islamic movements in relevant fields. The annual review meet of SIO is aimed at reviewing and assessing different programmes executed and implemented by respective zones in the light of Policy and Programmes. The programme started on December, 17, with tazkeer bil Qur’an delivered by Br Syed Arif Ali, president,SIO Rajasthan Zone. General Secretary SIO of India, Mohammad Abdur Rafiq explained need and importance of review meet in his inaugural words. A symposium on the topic ‘Human Resource Development and Management and the responsibilities of Zonal leaders’ was also part of the day one programme. Subsequently, from evening session onwards until late December, 19 evening zones presented their annual reports. On the second and third day of the meet organizational programmes implemented by zones were assessed and analyzed. Central leaders gave certain suggestions, shared their expectations and vision with zones and urged them to work with more activism to make SIO an organization having potential of transforming society. Subsequently, a workshop on campaign against Neo- Imperialism scheduled in 1-15 January 2010, was held. In which campaign convener Br Shibli Arsalan explained aims, objectives and programmes of the campaign.

 National president SIO of India, Suhail KK and National Secretary Shahnawaz Ali Raihan,ex-MP Md. Salim gave presentations on ‘Capitalistic imperialism and its effects on our daily lives’. Mr Suhail outlined awful and adverse impacts of neo-imperialism on society, culture, politics, education and environment. Central leaders answered questions and queries of Zonal leaders while general secretary Br Ab Rafiq explained some matters related to organization.
