New All India President of Students Islamic Organisation of India for the term 2017-18, Br Nahas Mala along with Br Khaleeq Ahmed (General Secretary) and other National Secretaries of SIO of India taking over charge from Br Iqbal Hussain (National President for the term 2015-16), Br Alif Shukoor (General Secretary 2015-16) along with other secretaries under the presence of Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Muhammad Salim Engineer at SIO headquarters, New Delhi.

The other National Secretaries for the term 2017-18 are Br Tauseef – CAC member, Br Abdul Wadood he belongs to West Bengal and served as National secretary in past, Br Labeed Shafi – CAC member and  ex state President of SIO Karnataka, Br Syed Azharuddin served as State secretary of SIO Telangana and Br Jaseem P.P. who was advisory council member of Kerala.

Outgoing National secretaries were Br Nishad was advisory member of Kerala in past, Br Layeeq Ahmed (CAC member and State President of SIO Telangana), Br Nazeer ul Hasan Falahi who served as state president of SIO UP central zone.
