Two-day Tazkiya Camp organized by UP Cental

Uttar Pradesh Central chapter of Students Islamic Organisation of India organized a Two-day Tazkiya Camp at Zonal office in Lucknow, on 8th and 9th February 2014. The camp started with discourse of Quran by Engineer Shahid Ali. The camp comprised of programs such as lectures on ‘Future of our Nation and our responsibilities’ by Prof. Ayaz Ahmad Islahi (Lucknow University), ‘Our Vision for Social  Media by Khaleeq Ahmad (Campus Secretary of SIO), ‘Changing Scenario and Indian Educational System’  by Shameem Ahmad, debate on ‘Towards becoming Students’ Voice’  co-ordinated by Er. Mohd. Arif, ‘Importance of Dawah and its practical approach’ by Ubaidurrahman Azhar (Member of JIH), ‘SIO: Establishment, Background & Expectations’ by  Waliullah Sayeedi Falahi (Zonal Patron of SIO UP Central).

Later, a Cadre meet was organised, which was presided over by National Secretary, Khaleeq Ahmad. The Yearly Progress Report of the zone was presented by Aamir Usmani (Zonal Secretary of SIO UP Central). Unit Presidents/Circle Incharges presented their vision for their areas. Zonal President, Najmussaquib Khan,  in his presidential speech motivated the cadre and said that the real power of any organisation lies at local level. The program was followed by a Cultural evening and concluded with Zonal Patron’s concluding speech.
