A massive march was organised by Murshidabad chapter of the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) against frequent rape cases, chit fund scam and violence at Harirampur College.

The march started from Dhulian Kanchantala High School covering all municipality areas of Dhulian. More than 200 students and youths participated. The march demanded capital punishment for the rapists and fair investigation of chit fund scam. Br. Mosiur Rahman, State President of SIO West Bengal, Abdullahil Kafi, State Secretary addressed during the march.
