SIO submitted memorandum to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

SIO National Secretary, Syed Azharuddin met with Arvind Kejriwal (Chief Minister of Delhi), congragualted on his development schems on education and health and also submitted a memorandum. (Text copy of memorandum is attached)

Respected Sir,
Sub: Request regarding to take necessary steps on the concerns of Jamia Nagar people.

SIO of India, is a student’s organization working for the betterment of students community and extends support in policy matters in the field of education since 1982.

SIO welcome the steps taken by Delhi government in the field of education and health, especially career counseling for 10-12 students of government schools and 100% fee waiver for students below poverty line. Also we welcome the move of SMREE (Smart + Free) scheme and Mohalla Clinics.

Apart from all these initiatives we have following concerns, with respect to Okhla, Jamia Nagar area. Hope you will take necessary steps as soon as possible in public interest.

1. All Jamia Nagar localities have dirty drains and face water logging during the monsoons because of the potholes.

2. The conditions of roads are worst of its conditions in Jamia Nagar.

3. No proper control over the traffic near Batla house and Okhla head area.

4. No dumping yard in and around Jamia Nagar, even after authorities knows about the conditions unwilling to take necessary actions.

We kindly request you to visit the Abul Fazl Enclave area.
