SIO of India demands immediate intervention of Telangana chief minister into the issue of a police custodial encounter on Way to house of Justice

National President Mr. Iqbal Hussain of SIO of India Express Great distress on encounter of 5 Youth in police custody. Killing on name of self defense is utterly condemnable & shows the brutality and misuse of powers by some policemen in Telangana state,

We demand K Chandrasekhar Rao, chief minister of Telangana to intervene immediately into the issue of custodial encounter and stop the defamation of state. Also we demand immediate suspension of all police officers who are link into this issue in any way.

Killing in judicial custody, will lead to many questions on trail investigations therefore we demand high level CBI enquiry in this issue. After media reports it seems that the issue was not as simple as story planted by Top Cops and gives a wrong signal of suppression of citizens in general and Muslim community in specific.

Youth hear are accused of forming a militant organization to Hit police officers. We feel that it is a great conspiracy going on to defame the governance and peace loving people of Telangana, illegal detentions & custodial killing of prisoners’ is not justified in any sense when they are on the way to court of law. Let Judiciary decide and take action in accordance.

It is the responsibility of the state to protect and gives proper security to life of every citizen. But if security agencies resonate with certain thinking. Then it is a matter of great danger for civil society.

Addressing to media, Family members of the encounter victims stated that “All our representations went unanswered” on The security of our children, they also mention that they have had apprehension since the beginning that their children’s lives were in danger, The family also said that dead bodies will not be buried and there will be no Namaz-e-Janaza(funeral prayer) till Telangana Government orders a CBI enquiry.

As media reports one of The victim’s father said that “I was confident That my son, along with others, was going to get acquitted. But Police in desperation killed them all,” he alleged.

SIO of India appeal to the people of the country and specially the people of Telangana to build strong pressure on government and various agencies for getting justice done. Also, we request all the people of nation to see that peace of nation should not get disturbed. Said laeeq ahmed National PR secretary SIO of India-New Delhi in a Statement.
