SIO Nizambad delegation along with Br. Abdul Malik Shariq [State Campus Sec, SIO AP] met with Member of Parliament Nizambad Smt.K.Kavitha at her residence. discussed about education and educational issues of Telangana specially about the Nizambad.
Br. Abdul Malik Shariq [State Campus Sec, SIO AP] said: As, Education is one of the important tools for human endeavor and development. A well educated population equipped with knowledge, attitude and skills is essential for social and economic progress of the nation. The high proportion of the educated people in the total population is the indicator of nation’s bright future. Considering the importance of education in a society, we have placed the issues related to education and students in first place in our ‘Students Manifesto’. Education abroad programs are gaining momentum among the Indian students, for which students are taking help of educational agents. Various incidents witnessed that many students were mislead by them and suffered with career loss. A regulatory mechanism must be made in this regard. Value based education: There has been a rise in unethical and immoral activities and incidents on the campuses. There can be many factors for such incidents but most important among those factors is the lack of value based education. Therefore, Regulatory guides or manuals that promote the values and ethics should be introduced as part of the curriculum.
Special attention for Educationally Backward Blocks: Telangana has highest number of educationally backward blocks as per MHRD in terms of quality education, accessibility and infrastructures. Therefore, special attention should be made towards these places to provide quality education and good infrastructure.
At last Smt K.Kavitha MP gave positive response to the SIO delegation and asked to be in touch for the overall development of the constituency and educational development of the students community.
