Students Islamic Organisation of India, Madhya Pradesh East Zone organised a VIP’s Meet for social elites, trustees of various schools, social activists, educationists, teachers, professors from various colleges attended.
The program started with a brief introduction of SIO and its activities by Rashid Masood, Zonal Campus Sec. Later, Masih uz Zaman, National secretary of SIO presented a brief introduction of the North India Education Movement, which is being run by SIO from the past 1.5 years for the upliftment of education in the north India.
National President of SIO, Ashfaq Ahmed Shareef spoke on various students’ and education related issues and the role played by SIO in order to address these issues. He brought to light the social injustice in the field of education going on in the country, the loop holes in the current educational system, lack of morality among students and youth and the failure of our educational system in inculcating these values. He also said that the biggest threat to our country is the polarisation of masses caused by communal and fascist forces. He said that we must all join hands in order to defeat these forces which divide the society on the basis of religion and race.
He urged everyone present in the meet to contribute for the society and join hands with SIO in it’s struggle. This was followed by an open Q&A session.
In the end, Zonal President of SIO MP East, Daood Hasan Falahi discussed the future plans and vision of the zone.
