Indian Islamic Youth Circle (IIYC), Qatar, under the patronage of Indian Friends Circle Qatar invited National President of  Students Islamic Organisation of India Mr. Iqbal Hussain for the yearly convention. This kind of convention was held after a gap of 5 years in the heart of Doha at Qatar Islamic Cultural Center.(FANAR)

He addressed a massive gathering of 500+ Youth with the theme -“TURN TO YOUR CREATOR”, at the beautiful Fanar auditorium. Mr. Iqbal Hussain, National President SIO of India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and shared the dais with Mr. Zubair Ahmed Khan, President of IIYC and Mr. Sajid Ahmed,Chief Patron IIYC and  Mr. Syed Mohiuddin Shakir Vice-president Indian Friends Circle Qatar.

Mr. Hussain emphasized on the need for Muslim youth to play an active role in changing the socio-economic condition of the community. He said: “Unless the Muslim youth does not rise to the occasion and work for upliftment of the community, situation of the ummah will not change for the better”.  He spoke at length on how the youth in the past have contributed and brought positive changes in the world. Mr. Hussain credited the success of developed nations to the dedication, focus, and determination of their youth. He added “For a country or a community to progress, its youth must strive collectively for a common goal”.

Mr. Hussain advised the youths to take the examples from the lifes of young sahaba like Hz Musab bin Umar, Hz Abdullah bin Masud (May Allah be pleased with Them) and many more on how they turned to the creator on the call of prophet and left the worldly desires. He also mentioned the stories of Hz Yousuf and Hz Isa (PBUH) from the Qur’an and asked the youth to make them as the role models and follow the path shown by them.

He presented a three point formula and called the Muslim youth to it to resurrect the ummah. He asked the youth to spread the teaching of holy Qur’an, become pioneers in the field of Science and Technology, and call people towards Islam.

The second session of the program witnessed a motivating speech by Jb. Mohiuddin Shaker who addressed the youth to follow the teachings from Life of Prohphet Muhammad (PBUH) and life of Companions (Sahaba).

The program ended with the speech of  Mr. Zubair Khan,who urged the youth to serve their talents, energies and time in the things which will help us in turning back to our creator and through which we can guarantee success in this life and life here after. He called the youth to strive for the betterment of community and make use of IIYC platform present in Qatar. He thanked the audience present and hoped the program will inspire more youth to work for the betterment society in the coming days.

Mr. Hussain  was honored on his presence and a memento was presented to him on behalf of IIYC on this occasion.
